Educator, consultant, counselor, mother, and grandmother, Debra Alessandra has spent most of her adult life in the company of children. With a double major in Sociology and Elementary Education, her career path has been two-fold as well. Both in the field of addiction and in the field of education. Alessandra’s heart is open to the needs of children. She has a knack for helping them feel valued and important. Whether in the classroom or engaging with children and families in recovery, this life long work has inspired her materials.
