Now What?

Now What?

A barrage of mixed messages somehow reaches me daily. Multiple considerations abound. Open or reopen? Go out or stay home? Wear a mask? Never mind. Go to the grocery store? Stay away?

A new cycle is upon us. We all need to decide how we will proceed.

I am curious about what feels right for you at this time. What is your gut telling you? If you get quiet and really inquire, the answer comes. I encourage you to trust yourself.

We often guide our children to trust themselves and the little voice that whispers to them. Let’s do that as well.

Perhaps we can turn off the talking heads and reclaim our inner authority. Yes, information is important, but so is leaning into our sixth sense.

It is innate. It is in our hearts. Offering guidance on a daily, hourly, and minute by minute basis.

It all comes down to a simple truth. We cannot control others. We can only control ourselves.

When I ask myself what is right for me at this time, I have a sense this unseen presence known as COVID-19 is still thriving among us. For this reason, I intend to refrain from business as usual. I have no desire to rush back to the intense pace of the pre-virus time. I’d like to refrain from the ‘take it all for granted’ mindset.

When I take away the financial considerations, the impulse to grind out a daily schedule and list of ‘necessary’ accomplishments, and/or the need to be entertained, I am really quite content. At least for now.

You’ll find me at home. I’ve never been more easily reachable.

Blessings to you and yours. Stay safe.
